Since we are all longing to get out of the house lately, we wanted to write a post to help inspire you when picking your next travel destination. If you are like us, you are already planning out your 2021 travels. It is important to plan far ahead, keeping in mind where you want to be in certain seasons. For instance, if you want to go to Oktoberfest in Munich you need to be planning on booking a hotel for September 2021. Yes, you heard that right, Oktoberfest is not actually held in October in Germany. Do you want to see the tulips in Holland in the springtime or the northern lights in Iceland in the autumn? It is a good idea to create a rough draft of your travel plans in advance so you’re not going to the wrong places at the wrong time.

There are so many beautiful places to see in the world, which makes it hard for us to narrow down our favorites. Each of these photos we will show has a special place and memory in our hearts. Let us know in the comments if you have been to these places or have any booking/travel inquiries.

Cliffs of Moher in Ireland
Cliffs of Moher

Ireland was our favorite country to visit so far. From the friendly people and stonewalled pubs to this oh-so-famous coastline, Ireland stole our hearts. We spent most of our time in Dublin but took a two-hour drive to the west side to visit these amazing cliffs. As you can see, it was the view of a lifetime! Check out our Ireland blog here!

Corinth in Greece

Greece is as much a romantic and dreamy destination as it is an enlightening one. There are countless remnants of ancient history and civilization scattered throughout the country because it is among the oldest in the world. Both the modern areas and historical ones are sure to amaze you.

Santorini, Greece. Blue dome buildings. Water view.

Of course, you can’t visit Greece without visiting Santorini in all of its white and blue glory. It is a bit out of the way from mainland Greece, but you definitely will not regret making the trip. These views are to die for!

Colosseum in Rome, Italy

Visit the icon of Rome at the Colosseum. It is even more beautiful at night. It’s hard to imagine the sheer amount of gladiators that have fought in this very arena.

Venice, Italy

If you are looking for some romance, look no further than Venice. This city that is built on the water and ran by wine is the perfect romantic getaway. Just make sure to pack some rain boots for this one. The city floods up to twice a day!

Eiffel Tower Paris, France
Eiffel Tower in Paris

You can’t go to France and not visit Paris! This is the most iconic and visited site in France and known around the world. You can’t help but feel like an ant standing next to the massive tower. Whether you are having a picnic on the lawn or sipping champagne at the top this is a must on your list!

Paris is always a good idea.

Abbaye Royale de Fontevraud in France
Abbaye de Fontevraud

Visit a quiet Abbey in a rural town. This abbey is the oldest and in my opinion the most beautiful in Europe. You can stroll through the Abbey and pretend like you are royalty for the day.

I hope this post has inspired you to find your next destination! Collect moments not things.
